small hot water bottles are generally called children’s size many are used by adults. Ribbed on one side and smooth on other – this give comfortable heat on the smooth side and the ribbed side will diffuse the heat.
Ribbed on both side – diffuse heat to last longer and avoid being too hot.
Patterned – often the novelty hot water bottles will have a raised pattern that will act similar to ribbed hot water bottles.
Plain on both sides – many of the transparent hot water bottles are plain in either clear or pattern/design. Plain hot water bottles will give a very comfortable amount of even heat.
There are some novelty types of hot water bottles, these change depending seasonal trends and demand. Currently you will find shaped bottles such as the
heart shaped, football type and
heat warming hot water bottles . This hot water bottle contains shapes inside that will change colour to indicate the right temperature for use, ideal for children or vulnerable people where the right temperature can be seen visually.
There are hard to find hot water bottles such as with handles which due to space constraints will not be stocked in many stores. These hard to find
hot water bottles with handles are rare finds and increasingly difficult to buy.
