Question: can i put this bottle in the freezer?
Answer: No, never put a hot water bottle in the freezer, frost will cause damage to the structure of the material weakening it, there is a severe risk of damage if used incorrectly. Even if you do not intend to add hot water the bottle will be at risk of splitting and would fail. Also someone else may pick up the bottle to use, not worth taking a chance.
Great hot water bottle purchased in summer but did not use it until November and still in constant use now. I have only used in winter admittedly and it was mostly on cold nights but this bottle really made a difference to my comfort and still looks like new.
