Answer: The fleece is made from recyclable polyester and Oeko-Tex certified to be free of any harmful substances. Fashy manufacture all products that have a fabric cover with Oeko-Tex certification, this is to ensure a pure and eco-friendly product, so rare to find in the mass market of hot water bottles, many now ship from China, these are made in Germany. The cover is an important part of the bottle, it is the part that will be closest to the skin and for anyone with sensitive skin it has to be a pure fabric. Although washing a cover is important it is the way the hot water bottle is manufactured in an ethical and hygienic manner that sets Fashy way ahead of the market.

Manufactured from renewable sugar cane these green eco-friendly bottles will break down naturally and do not contain any plastics or phthalates and are suitable for those with a latex allergy. They work the same way as a traditional hot water bottle, although slightly smaller in size they do stay warm for a long time and are the first real green alternative on the market today.
Question: Hi Ok to put boiling water in without damage?
Answer: When filling do not use boiling water, very hot water is fine but boiling water can cause splits or leaks that will shorten the life of any type of hot water bottle. Avoid filling from a domestic hot water system as the impurities can shorten the life of the bottle. The preferred method is to use water from a kettle that has boiled and been allowed to cool down. Fill slowly using a funnel to avoid splashing back and when done ensure the funnel is empty. You’ll find that with regular use the prefect heat that is right for you.
Question: Does this bottle have a smaller size, I like one half the size of a normal one please.
Answer: Currently only the normal size bottle in production.

So pleased to find a hot water bottle with low impact on the planet. Germany is ahead of UK as there are none here, I will continue to support these until somebody in UK can make them with less air miles.
