Traditionally manufactured with high rubber content with a smooth and slightly textured finish on both sides yielding maximum heat, very useful when used with a hot water bottle cover to evenly disperse heat that lasts for hours. Smooth finish heats up quicker to deliver instant warmth, can be used without a cover but care must be taken as the surface can get very hot.
